Experience the marine sanctuary

A PROTECTED REEF. A PRIVATE STAIRCASE. YOUR SNORKEL GEAR IS READY.

The reef is at your doorstep. Walk down and dive in.

Pure Shores Villa overlooks the Basdio Marine Sanctuary. A private staircase takes you straight from the villa to the reef. No boat. No transfer. Just walk down and step in. The reef sits close to shore, making it a perfect spot for beginners and children learning to snorkel for the first time. Complimentary snorkel gear and life vests are provided for all guests. Below the surface: colourful fish, healthy corals, sea turtles, and the kind of underwater quiet that makes you forget you're five minutes from your bedroom.

A protected reef you can walk to in sixty seconds.

The Basdio Marine Sanctuary is a community-protected reef right below the villa. A private staircase leads you down through the garden, past the trees, and straight to the water's edge.

The reef is shallow and close to shore. You don't need experience. You don't need a boat. Children wade in from the rocks. First-time snorkellers find their confidence here. The current is gentle, the visibility is clear, and the marine life is an arm's length away.

We provide complimentary snorkel gear and life vests for every guest. Masks, fins, and vests in all sizes are ready at the villa. Just grab a set and walk down.

What you will see: schools of colourful reef fish, soft and hard corals in every shape, the occasional sea turtle gliding past, and a quiet that only exists underwater. Most guests come back up the stairs already planning their next session.
